We just added a new module to the Odoo App Store.
Our new module improves the User Experience of Odoo ECommerce. It's what's known as a Lateral Cart - a shopping cart presented as a side panel. The panel opens when the shopping cart icon is clicked and shows its contents.
This means the customer doesn't have to go to the cart subpage to check what they've already added.
It's a data module - meaning it can be used on every version of Odoo:
- Enterprise SaaS
- Enterprise .sh
- Enterprise On-prem
- Community
The module is available in the following versions:
- 19.0
- 18.0
- 17.0
- 16.0

Lateral Cart module
Instead of reloading the page, the module slides out a sleek side panel with a preview of the products. The customer stays right where they were, sees what they've added, and can head straight to checkout. Simple and effective.
